Shared questions and professional perspectives for everyone.
How do I raise my little girl in a healthy, happy relationship?
A parent is concerned about an 11-year-old daughter’s changes at school and home, including reports of seeing and hearing a figure who gives violent instructions. A family history of schizophrenia and an online test have increased the parent’s worry.
How effective is Prozac for OCD?
A person’s OCD symptoms returned after stopping Prozac, and they are anxious about whether restarting it at changing doses will help. They want reassurance and guidance about a treatment that previously worked well.
How should I handle a sweet but aloof boyfriend?
A woman feels impatient with her caring but laid-back boyfriend and sometimes directs stress or irritation toward him. She wonders whether differing temperaments, unspoken boundaries or menstrual changes contribute to the pattern.
