How can I overcome my debilitating shyness and fear of life?
A 21-year-old university student describes persistent shyness, loneliness, low self-esteem, and fear of everyday social situations. Self-help books have not relieved their difficulties, and they feel ashamed of struggling despite a comfortable life.
Why do I have to imagine I’m a sex victim?
A person in a loving relationship feels distressed by unwanted sexual fantasies involving victimization and finds intimacy difficult without them. They report no real-life history of sexual victimization and ask why this is happening.
